INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY AT WORK BEHIND TERRORISM TO DESTABILISE INDIA: MEHMOOD PRACHA

BeyondHeadlines Special Correspondent

PUNE:  Supreme Court Lawyer Mehmood Pracha today said that there was an international conspiracy to destabilise India and certain rogue elements in the government (Police and Agencies) were abetting terrorists and framing innocents. “What we perceive is that it is an international conspiracy hatched by the world powers who want to destabilise the nation. There are some vested interests working in the government who goals is to destroy the constitution of the country and turn the country into a fascist state ,” he said.

He warned that the people of the country have come to know about the economics behind the terror attacks and said that the best way to define the issue was that it was a game of economic terrorism. Pracha was in the city to address a mammoth conference on “Framing of Innocent Muslims and the Way Forward ” organised by all castes organisation in Pune.

Pracha further demanded filing of FIR’s against former Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) chief Rakesh Maria, Home Minister R R Patil and Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan for participating in the conspiracy to frame German Bakery Bomb blast suspect Himyat Baig in a false case.

Pracha said that ATS investigation was in complete contrast to investigation done by three premiere investigating agencies of the country-National Investigation Agency (NIA), Bangalore Police and Delhi Special Cell. “The NIA has given Baig a clean hit and we will apply for bail in the high court. An innocent person like Baig was framed by the ATS at the behest of some powerful elements in the government who don’t want justice to prevail,” he added.

Pracha said that the draconian acts like UAPA was being used against muslims and tribals just to support the real terrorists.” In Baig’s case, the real terrorists have been helped by ATS and its coteries. There is lot evidence in support of the misdemeanors of the anti terror agency and it is time that its officers are put behind the bars. We will soon file a petition in the court against Maria and the state government for framing innocents,” he added.
