We have booked them on charges of physical assault and causing injury to the complainant ,” Vasant Kuvar said. Besides, another non cognizable complaint  has been lodged by  Bank Director Imtiaz Shikilkar against educationist P A Inamdar, Gudakuwala,Peerzade and Shahbaz Shaikh alleging threats, intimidation and dire consequences to him by the suspects, Kuvar added.

Meanwhile, muslim activists working in the field of education have condemned the incident and informed mediapersons  alleging Azam Campus has become a person fiefdom of Mr P.A Inamdar and his cronies who have no moral conscience and were resorting to physical violence to curb the opposition to the autocratic functioning of the management. The activists demanded that Mr Inamdar to step down from the post of President of Maharashtra Cosmopolitan and Education Society which runs Azam Campus and also Muslim C-operative Bank and pave way for non corrupt and genuine muslim workers. The activists alleged that mediocratic people with questionable background who have no professional qualification were calling the shots at Azam Campus.

They further said that Azam Campus was in need of fresh leadership and has no place for old fashioned and outdated ideas of the current management which they said was most corrupt , evil, criminal and shady cartel operating in the name of muslims which had no morals and respect for the community and was in fact the prime cause behind the downfall in educational standards of muslims and also other communities.

While supporters of Educationist P.A Inamdar informed mediapersons that the educationist had transformed the community and taken it to heights of educational success, progress and empowerment. The opposition wants to paint him in the wrong light but he always emerges as successful champion of muslims in India as he has done what none of the muslims has done so far , they said.
