TOKYO, March 22 (Xinhua) — An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 16:18: 50 local time (07:18:50 GMT) on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.00 km, was initially determined to be at 36.9000 degrees north latitude and 144.5000 degrees east longitude.
