New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a chargesheet in the 2G spectrum scam on Saturday. 12 persons have been named as accused in the chargesheet that is 80,000 long, including all documents and annexures.
The CBI brought the chargesheet in to the Patiala House court here in seven steel trunks.
12 accused include former telecom minster A Raja, former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura, Raja’s former personal assistant RK Chandolia, and Swan Telecom’s promoter Shahid Balwa.
It also includes names of Gautam Doshi, Saurabh Papadiya, Hari Nayar, Sanjay Chandra and three companies. 125 witnesses and 654 documents have been mentioned.
All accused have been booked under sections 120 B, 468, 471, 420 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code. Raja has been charged with criminal conspiracy, forgery, cheating and corruption.
