New Delhi: The Central government has rejected the Bhartiya Janta Party’ demand to recall Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj.
Union home minister P Chidambaram told media today, “There is no question of recalling the Governor.”
Bhardwaj last week had submitted a report recommending President’s rule in the state. Centre has rejected the recommendation.
Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, however, has said that they will keep pressing for his removal.
