Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Hyderabad Chapter organised a candle light protest against the brutal killings of children in Peshawar attack. Hundreds of students, men and women took part in today’s protest at KBR Park in Banjara Hills area in Hyderabad.
In a press statement, SIO said it strongly condemned the deadly terror attack in the army school in Peshawar. Over 130 school children died in the attack, while several other were badly injured.
“The reasoning behind attack that it’s the revenge of Operation Azb is again no justification for such cruelty. The barbaric act of terrorists has left the Indian subcontinent completely shocked,” the statement read.
The national organization, which has chapters in all the major states and districts, said it was appalled at the “gruesome act of terror” that has ashamed the humanity.
SIO City President Layeeq Ahmed Khan expressed the condolences to the parents and relatives of deceased children and has expressed anguish over the failure of International community to tackle terror at the Global level.
“He also expressed his dismay over the volatile political situations in neighbour country. He has urged the
Indian government to use the diplomatic strength and help solve Pakistan its internal conflicts through humane political and diplomatic approach.”
