BeyondHeadlines invites nominations for top 10 Waqf Activists of India to acknowledge and recognise the exceptional work to save the waqf properties.
We will compile a list of top 10 waqf activists who have remarkably been involved in spreading awareness and saving the waqf land from encroachment.
The muslim community has completely abandoned its task of creating , establishing and securing waqfs during the past fifty years. Similarly, a major section of the muslim political class kept the community engaged in frivolous and emotive issues rather than empowering itself socio-economically through waqf. Our endeavour is make the Indian Muslim community a waqf literate society of twenty first century and the top ten activists will be national icons of waqf protection and conservation of India.
Nominate your friends, colleagues or anyone who you think deserves the most to be in this list. The nominations are open till midnight 1 August 2019. The award will be declared by our panel on 3rd Week of August 2019.
