1993: Around 257 people were killed and 713 people were injured when bomb blast ripped 13 places in Mumbai on March 12, 1993.

1997: A blast occurred at near Jama Masjid on August 28, in Mumbai in which three people were injured.

1998: On January 24, a bomb exploded at Malad in Mumbai in which one person was injured.

1998: In the same year, just after a month, a blast occurred at Virar in Mumbai on Feburary 27, 1998. nine person were killed in the blast.

2002: On December 2, 2002, two persons were killed and 31 injured when a powerful bomb exploded in north-central Mumbai outside Ghatkopar suburban railway station in a municipal bus.

2002: Just after four days, another blast occurred in Mumbai in the same year on December 6, 2002 at Mumbai Central railway station in which around 25 people were injured.

2003:  A crude bomb was planted in a bicycle which exploded at a shopping complex outside Vile Parle railway station in north-west Mumbai on January 27, 2003.

2003: In the same year, another blast occured in a ladies special train when it was entering Mulund railway station, Eleven people were killed and 65 injured in the powerful blast on March 13, 2003.
2003: On April 14, 2003, a bomb exploded at Bandra in Mumbai in which one person was killed.

2003: Two blasts occurred one after the other on August 25, 2003 at the Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar in which 46 people were killed and more that 160 were injured. At both the places, RDX was planted in taxis parked in the area.

2006:  On July 11, seven powerful bombs exploded at seven locations in local trains in Mumbai. Around 181 people were killed and 890 were injured in the blasts.

2008: Eight attacks occurred in South Mumbai on November26. The blasts occured at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident,  the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Nariman House Jewish community centre, the Metro Cinema, and a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier’s College. There was also an explosion at Mazagaon. Around 166 people, including 28 foreign nations, were killed in the attacks.
