New Delhi: On Sunday, July 31 Delhi girls and women, and some men in solidarity, staged the Besharmai morcha, Indian version of slut walk.
The besharmi morcha could not live up to its expectations as the turnout was low and women were not dressed as provocatively.
The Slut Walk protest marches began in Canada and became a kind of protest against explaining or excusing rape by referring to any aspect of a woman’s appearance.
