Manchester United created a rout at Old Trafford as they razed Arsenal 8-2, courtesy Wayne Rooney’s Hatrik.

While Manchester City dominated the Spurs 5-1 in London the Red half of Manchester, The United’s showed their class act against a depleted Gunner’s side flagging a warning to all the other teams in the league.

Arsenal have just lost their two mid-field stars Fabregas and Nasri to Barcelona and Manchester City and the morally depleted Arsene Wenger’s squad travelled to the Theatre Of Dreams for this epic clash.

Man United started the proceedings when the hesitant defence of Arsenal failed to clear a lofted pass from Anderson while Danny Welbeck easily nodded the ball in the net.

Evans dragged Walcott and Arsenal were awarded a penalty .De Gea dived to his right to save Van-Persie’s shot and earned the congratulations from his team mates. In United’s next attack, Ashley Young beautifully curled in the top right corner from outside the penalty box to make it 2-0.

Welbeck’s afternoon was ruined when he pulled his hamstring muscle ending his game. Hernandez replaced him.
Arsenal defender Jenkinson was lucky not to get a red card after he fouled on Young; he was given a yellow card. Rooney ensured the justice as he scored through a free kick (3-0).

Just at the closing moments before the half time Walcott ensured that, they have something to rejoice as his shot went through De Gea’s legs. At half time, it was 3-1.

The job was undone as the Red Devils came aloud and Nani chipped in with a shot but it was poorly executed. Tom Cleverly was close on scoring after his brilliant one-two with Young but his shot lacked power and Arsenal Goalkeeper Scezensky who had a torrid time made that stop.

Meanwhile, Gunners also tried United’s new Goalie with more shots and he defended them with ease and calm as the crowd applauded his efforts.

Rooney again repeated his free kick in the first half by whipping home 4-1 and reaching a mark of 150 goals, behind United’s Sir Bobby Charlton.

Nani finally broke his deadlock as he cheekily scored in one-on-one situation against Scezensky.

Nani and Anderson made way for Giggs and Park, but United did not stop the Goal festival. The came on substitute Park ensured that his name all goes in the goal-sheet as he buried Young’s pass low into the left corner to make it 6-1.

Skipper Van Persie rescued back some pride when he scored an emphatic finish for Arsenal.

Jenkinson received his second yellow card and was sent off for bringing down Hernandez leaving them with just 10 men.

Walcott tripped Evra inside the box and Wayne Rooney comfortably scored his hatrik with a well-executed penalty. It got worse for the Londoners when Ashley Young scored his second goal in a similar fashion to his first when he curled inside to the top corner to make it an embarrassing 8-2 score line for Arsenal.

Arsenal coach was seen fuming at his players, his head bobbed down and he accepted in the post match interview that “I’m very hurt with this defeat, but I will not quit.”It was one of the worst defeats for the Arsene Wenger side, they are yet to win a game in the league, having lost two and drew one and now languish at 17th position with 1 point in the tables while Man Utd moved to the top of the table with 9 points, winning all their three games.
