New Delhi: Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line was affected today afternoon after a train was stuck in a tunnel due to power failure.
A train was held up near Chawri Bazaar station. Delhi Metro spokesperson Anuj Dayal said, “Metro services on Jahangirpuri to HUDA City Centre were affected because of the tripping of the power supply from the Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS) at the Indraprastha Power Generation Company which provides power to this Metro corridor.”
Around 3.00 .m. metro service on Jahangiripuri-Gurgaon route was affect for about fifty minutes.
However, Delhi Metro rejected that there was any sparking or blast
Delhi Metro confirmed that there was no sparking or blast, as reported earlier.
