Following a fatal accident on Sunday, Ayazuddin Mohammad 19 today succumbed to his head injuries and died. He was a budding Cricketer who played under 13, under 15, under 19 and considered a talent.

He was the second son of former cricketer Azharuddin Mohammad and Congress MP from his first wife Naureen. The news has come as a shock and rattled sports enthusiasts. Rahul Bhose on Twitter sent his condolence writing, “Very very sad to hear the passing away of Azhar’s son. No parent should ever have to face such a tragedy. May he have the strength to go on.”
Ayazuddin 19, was speeding on his sports motorbike with cousin Ajmal ur Rahman 16 when it skidded and crashed near Ring Road in Hyderabad.
The two were brought to Appollo Hospital by the Police unconscious. Ajmal was declared dead on arrival. His mother is Azharuddin’s sister.
On Monday one of Ayazuddin’s kidney was removed but yesterday the Hospital Bulletin by Appollo Hospital CEO Dr. K.Hari Prasad said, Brain function test indicate brain dysfunction and his condition remains critical. By afternoon reports came in of his death. The last rites prayers will be held today in Mecca Masjid and be buried today.
Andhara Pradesh Chief Minister Kumar Reddy, who played along Cricket with Azhar, paid a visit at the hospital.
