SIO Extends Help to Refugees in Hyderabad on World Refugee Day

Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), AP Zone organized a refugee meet in Hyderabad on the occasion of World Refugee Day to extend help and encourage them to lead a positive life.

Speaking at the occasion, SIO State President Iqbal Hussain urged refugees particularly youth not to deviate from the path of truth and honesty, and always have faith in God Almighty.

SIO Extends Help to Refugees in Hyderabad on World Refugee DayVarious activities were organized for the refugees in Bala Garden at Balapur, Hyderabad on 20th June 2013. Over 300 refugees participated in the program. SIO distributed rainy season kit worth 30,000 to all the participants.

While addressing the gathering, Human Welfare Foundation, AP Chapter Chairman Abdul Jabbar Siddiqi extended his sympathies and best wishes to the refugees.

Mr. Siddiqi said that rehabilitation of refugees is one of the biggest problems and every country’s government should take it seriously and rehabilitate their refugees.

He exhorted the gathering that refugees are no less human and it’s the tragedy of modern times that the rise on the sectarian violence, rebellion against the governments and the state wars are displacing a huge population from their lands.

Other noted guests at the program include Dr Noman Razvi, MD Al Shifa Medical Centre; SIO AP Zonal Secretary Hashmatullah Khan; SIO PR Secretary Abrar Ali, and Ex-City President of SIO Anas Razvi.
