I am Khalid Mujahid and I am Innocent, Facebook Page removed. Admins of Facebook Campaign for Khalid Mujahid have complained that their Facebook campaign page ‘I am Khalid Mujahid and I am innocent’ had been mysteriously removed ahead of campaign’s 75 days on 4 August.
Admins told that there were not a single post which could have been categorized as violating community norms set by Facebook however based on some false complains, it seems that Facebook has removed the page or it has removed it under political pressure.
It is known that the Facebook page has successfully coordinated with Rihai Munch’s movement for justice for Khalid Mujahid and has mobilized public opinion on social networking sites. If not recovered within few days, admins will take necessary actions restore the page. Akhliesh Yadav’s Smajwadi government is facing pressure because of its failure to fulfill any of his government’s promises for justice to family of Khalid Mujahid who was murdered in police custody.
