Crying is not just shedding tears
It is actually feelings the heart bears
Tears are produced continuously by the lacrimals
Mostly physiological; unfortunately pathological
But there is one more side, the emotional
Some People hyperlacrimate due to irritations
While some have dry eyes due to Sjogren’s
But those are fortunate who cry due to emotions
People of Egypt raised slogans, Legitimacy! Legitimacy!
Crushed by the inhuman militancy
Rabia, at the banks of Nile
Was piled with corpses, pile upon pile
Innocent people paid, for others ill-deeds, with their blood
As in the Uttarakhand flood
People of Gaza cry for decent lives
But nothing is left of their Olives or their lives
People of Burma bleeding with wounds and from eyes
They have a Nobel-laureate, but it is all lies
They cried for their & families lives
Hoping that someone for them would strive
Hoping they died
But no one tried
The emotions have lied
The eyes have dried
People are busy in their pleasures
What some shed, are only crocodile-tears
They have already shed a lot of tears
A couple of drops from your eyes
Without any lies
That would be better at least for the rest alive
Crying is not just shedding tears
It is actually feelings the heart bears
Lost In the loneliness of night
I think of loneliness in the day-bright
O! God you created me & everything with perfection
But do I have time for You or Your creation
You have bestowed on me a lot
I do not want to be a disgrace, even by a dot
I want to cry, for you to be pleased
To please you with my every deed
This poem might not give me any cent
But I hope for your Satisfaction, O! The Most Beneficent
To be in relation with You & Your Creation, will make me content
Crying is not just shedding tears
It is actually feelings the heart bears
The lacrimals also go dry
When the emotions of the heart are dry,
There are stones, hardest, from which gushes water
I hope the hearts are not that hard; try; your eyes may drop some water
Crying is not just shedding tears
It is actually feelings the heart bears
