Miscreants Blows SIO Office in Thiruvananthapuram with Petrol BombThe blast, suspected to be carried out by Students’ Federation of India (SFI), badly damaged the office located in the second floor of Islamic Centre in Palayam. According to local SIO leaders, seven people were sleeping inside the office at the time of incident.

SIO believes that two people came on a bike, threw the bomb and rushed away. A case has been registered by the Cantonment police in the area. SFI activists were behind this hideous incident, alleged SIO in a release.

Trying to understanding why the incident happened, SIO Kerala Campus Secretary KS Nisar stated: “SIO had contested in one seat in the last election on 13th September in Kerala University campus, where SFI acts as fascist.”

“SIO could gain 167 votes against SFI. Since then SFI target SIO workers and sympethisers. Yesterday, Lukman a second year student in campus and SIO worker was brutally assailed by SFI goons and he was admitted in General Hospital.”

Today SIO organized a march protesting against the bomb attack in Thiruvananthapuram, but SFI activists targeted the march which resulted into a standoff between two parties.
