The virtue of sharing… from a young age we are taught that sharing is caring. Our Vedas too have taught us how to live when we are in the physical body – by keeping our body and mind strong and spreading peace and love, working for others’ welfare. It has taught us to build a future where greed is not a virtue and sharing is not a sin. Vedic metaphysics has even created an ideal society model for the welfare of all beings where it advices us to share and love.

A helping hand… a caring attitude… a will to share… it can go a long way for someone whose heart needs a boost. And nothing is more satisfying than giving someone a hope to look towards a bright and healthy future. Share Some Light (SSL) is such an initiative which strives to make a difference between life and death. Heart diseases in infants and children are disheartening. Though today’s technological advancements in the medical field can save many a life, it is unaffordable for the unfortunate many. SSL is a noble initiative which aims to save the lives of underprivileged children and in turn, and in a way their parents who without help have no option but to lose everything or their child.

Ethnicity, the leading brand of SJ Retail, a one stop shop for ‘Everything Indian’ under one roof is aligning itself with the SSL concept along with Have a Heart Foundation and is taking a step forward not only to support the cause but as well as reward those who ‘Have a Heart to help’. Nov 20th to Dec 20th 2013 visit the ethnicity store near you and give away your old clothes. As we have aligned with Have A Heart Foundation, the fund raised from the same will be used for heart surgery of the children. So please do the deed.

To make a difference between life and death…to be the hope of underprivileged children…to be the vehicle to make little hearts smile and dream a healthy future…to heal hundreds of hearts and ensure that these children live their life fully. Share Some Light’s motive is to bring hope to those parents and children who cannot afford treatment facilities for ASD/VSD ailments.
