Court Summons Two Witnesses in Aurangabad Arms Haul Case

Court issued summons to the Doctor and Lab Assistant of Mansoora Tibbiya College. According to the Prosecution, arms were transferred in the presence of the witnesses.

Special MCOCA Court of Mumbai has issued summons on January 7 for the two important witnesses related from the Power loom city for deposing in Aurangabad Arms Haul Case terrorist incident in Maharashtra. The accused hide the arms in the store room of famous Ayurveda Medical College of Malegaon, Mansoora Tibbiya College in the presence of the witnesses. And he later transferred it at other place, informed Jamiat Ulama lawyer Adv. Shahid Nadeem Ansari.

Adv. Shahid has said that Special MCOCA judge G.T. Qadri has ordered to the witnesses Dr. Abullais Murtuza Aazmi and Lab Assistant Shaikh Gulam Mohammad to present in the Special Court of Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai at the petition submitted by ATS for filling their statement on January 9.

According to the prosecution, witnesses had filled their statement in May 2006 according to the Section 161 and 164 of Criminal Procedure. And it is clear in their statement that Dr. Sharif had transferred the arms loaded computer boxes in the college store room with the help of other accused during the duty of Mr. Gulam.

In the same way, Dr. Abullais Aazmi also said in his statement that he saw the transferring of the computer boxes from the store room as well as Dr. Sharif while other accused had transferred the arms loaded computer boxes almost 11 p.m. at night.

The Special Court had issued the summons a few day back to the store keeper of Mansoora Tibbiya College for deposing in the court. During whose duty, Dr. Sharif Sayyad Zabihuddin and Muzaffar Shaikh had kept the computer boxes in the college store room. But witness Khalid Ansari could not depose in the court due to the death.

Meanwhile, Special MCOCA court judge G.T. Qadri ordered to the defense lawyers of Jamiat Ulama (Maharashtra) Adv. Abdul Wahab Khan, Adv. Prakash Shetti, Adv. Sharif Shaikh, Adv. Tarique Sayyad etc. that they all should participate in the court activity by presenting there atJanuary 9.
