Jammu & Kashmir: Many women on social media platforms have accused a youth BJP leader from Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir of sexual misconduct and harassment.
Aquib Mir, the state secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), who actually hails from Gandoh block in Doda district and claims to be resident of Kashmir division has been accused by many women of making sexual advances and indecent remarks. He is currently based in Delhi.
Many of the screenshots shared on Twitter reveal how he used to pester young girls and women to go on a date with him, ask many personal details and intimidate them in giving their phone numbers.
This guy @AQUIBMIR7 from dooda jammu and pretending to be a kashmiri to gain followers on Twitter keep threatening, abusing girls. He is trying to get good post in BJP by showing his fake nationalism. He keep threatening boys as well as girls on Twitter.

He is known for his close proximity to many BJP leaders and Ministers including MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and others. Last month, he took a delegation of youths from Jammu division to meet Dr. Singh at his office in New Delhi.
He had also moved an application to the state police seeking security cover.
Meanwhile, the J&K unit of BJYM has discharged Aquib from all the posts for indulging in indiscipline.
