New Delhi: Two girl students of Jamia Millia Islamia have been selected to participate in the 1st Asian University Soft Tennis Championship to be held in Philippines from August 31st to September 4th, 2019.

Ms. Shubh Gulati

The selection of Ms. Shubh Gulati and Ms. Saayana Prakash was conveyed to the JMI Vice Chancellor, Prof. Najma Akhtar in a communication by Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India (Regd.), affiliated with International Soft Tennis Federation as well as Asian Soft Tennis Federation and recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Ms. Saayana Prakash

Ms. Gulati is a student of M.A. (Psychology) Final Year and Ms. Prakash is pursuing B.B.A. 2nd Year.

Prof. Akhtar congratulated the students for being selected to represent the university at the international event and extended her best wishes to them.
