New Delhi: A team of three students of Faculty of Law of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have won Public International Law Moot Court Competition organized by the prestigious National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad.

The team members were Adnan Yousuf, Arkaprava Dass and Ahmad Ammar, all VI semester students of B.A.LLB course of the university. The competition was held from 16th to 18th August 2019 at NALSAR, Hyderabad.

The competition was organized with the objective to foster growth and scholarship in the field of Public International Law.

Ahmad Ammar was adjudged the Best Researcher in the competition, which saw the participation of teams from over 45 law colleges from across the country.

The team also bagged the Best Memorial Award. They were awarded a total cash prize of 20,000 and two trophies along with certificates.
