New Delhi: Boys basketball team of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has won at the Annual Sports Festival hosted by BITS Pilani. This is for the third consecutive time that JMI  has won the Basketball event at the fest.

BITS Open Sports Meet (BOSM-2019) is a platform for college teams to exhibit their exceptional sporting talents and compete for superiority.

A total of twenty from various universities and colleges participated in the Basketball event. 

JMI team lifted the trophy by defeating Ramjas College, Delhi by 50 points in the final match.

Prof. Iqtedar Mohd. Khan, Hony. Director of Games & Sports, Prof. N.U.Khan, President, Basketball Club and Mr. S.S.Rawat, Coach of the JMI team expressed great satisfaction over the performance of the team.
