New Delhi: Anna Hazare on Monday made it clear that he will now only talk to either Prime Minister Manmohan Singh or Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Hazare is on fast for timely passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill. Senior cabinet minister met today to end the impasse.
Dr Singh has meanwhile said, “We are open to a reasoned debate on all these issues.”
He, however, added, “It is a mistake to see corruption as a consequence of economic liberalisation and reforms… (in fact) systematic reforms has seen disappearance of corruption.”
Both sides so far have refused to budge on from their stand, although they have also held back channel talks.
