New Delhi. The Anti corruption movement went political with team Anna launching a fierce attack on Indian National Congress in Hisar by-polls. Anna Hazare asked Hisar voters to vote against Congress but he did not mention that who should voters vote to power in this high pitched election.
Now the data released by national election watch suggests that whosoever win the election but team Anna had already lost it ethically.
The data released by National Election Watch make it more clear. According to affadavits filed by the candidates, both Haryana Janhit Congress Candidate Kuldeep Bishnoi and Ajay Singh Chautala of Indian Natinal Lok Dal have criminal cases pending against them. Ironically Congress candidate Jai Prakash does not have any criminal case against him.
Interestingly both Ajay Chautala and Kuldeep Bishnoi have amassed large fortunes in last one year. Property of went from 17 crore in 2009 to 31.5 crore in 2011. Ajay Chautala added more then 10 crores to his property in past two years. Now he has property of more then 40 crores. Ironically Jai Prakash of Congress is poorest among the three main candidates with property worth 3 crores.
Now the question arises when team Anna says to vote against congress do they mean to vote against the cleanest candidate among the top three contenders. The irony is that team Anna says that the electoral reforms will be the next big thing to eradicate corruption completely. So is it the team Anna way of electoral reforms?
