Indian olympian Sushil Kumar today created history at London Olympics by becoming first ever Indian Athlete to win medals at two consecutive olympics. He bagged silver Medal at 66 Kg Freestlye wrestling event. Earlier in 2008 he had won Bronze at Beijing Olympics.
Sushil Kumar won historic semifinal against Akzhurek Tantatarov of kazakhastan. In a thrilling Fight Sushil Kumar played his best in last 96 seconds of third round and scored 6 points eventually winning the Match.
Sushil kumar fought against three opponents before coming cross to Japan’s Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu. According to reports Sushil got ill before the final. Even After been ill he fought like a Hero. Although Sushil lost the Golden Match by 3-1 but sparked a wave of celebrations across India with his emphatic performance at the Olympics.
