Politics creates difficulties for aam aadmi in almost every sphere of life, reflected Prof. Jadeep S. Chokar, Director In charge of IIM Ahmedabad, in an event here in New Delhi.

Mr. Jadeep, who is also the Founder of Association of Democratic Reforms, discussed the entire election process and encouraged youth to participate in the politics to create ways to emphasize relevant impact.

Esteem Youth Foundation.Mr. Jadeep enlightened over 100 delegates participating in the ‘Changemaker’s Confluence’ held in the capital at Sharda Auditorium, RK Ashram. He led the ‘Change maker’s Take’ session.

Senior Counsel of Supreme Court and RTE Activist Adv. Ashok Agarwal cited real examples to show how law can be used effectively leading to social impact.

Heading the “Law- Gateway to Activism” session, Adv. Agarwal expounded particularly on the use of law in creating impact in the field of education.

Esteem Youth Foundation (EYF) organized the event. EYF founder Gaurav Agarwalla said his organization working for youth empowerment and upliftment of underprivileged youth.

A presentation demonstrated past initiatives of the organization such as Research internship, Aadhar and “Be the Change” contest were shown.

Captain Abhimanyu, National Spokesperson of BJP, has said that youth participation in politics is important. He conducted the session “Way to Parliament”.

“No matter how much the Indian political system is criticized it’s important for the youth to be part of the political system to enforce changes in the system,” Mr. Abhimanyu added.

The “Youth-o-nomics” session was conducted by Former Planning Commission Advisor Harsh Srivastava, while Shantanu Gupta, Founder of Yuva and Director for Center for Civil Society led the last session.

Speaking about “Enterpreuship”, Mr. Gupta emphasized on the relevance of creating new business ideas from daily life problems.

Host of the event, Kaarika Das, said the aim of the conference was to provide a platform which could lead to youth empowerment.
