New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday announced the results of the Civil Services Examination 2024, with Shakti Dubey securing the top rank, followed by Harshita Goyal in second place and Dongre Archit Parag in third.

A total of 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to prestigious services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS). The selected candidates include 335 from the General category, 109 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 318 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), 160 from Scheduled Castes (SC), and 87 from Scheduled Tribes (ST).

According to an independent count by BeyondHeadlines, 30 candidates with identifiable Muslim names appear in the final list. However, it is important to note that the UPSC does not release data on candidates’ religious affiliations, and the list is based on name-based identification, which may not be fully accurate.
