Jamia starts admissions to short term Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, introduces Digital Printing Course

New Delhi: Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia  (JMI) has introduced Digital Printing course as the admissions for various Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP) are commencing from November 11, 2019.

The Centre is already running EDP on Computer Hardware and Networking, PET Bottle Manufacturing and Drinking Water Packaging, Sales & Marketing, Bakery Products, CNC (Computer- Controlled Machine) Advance Training, Spices Grinding and Packaging, Paper Cup/Glass/Plates manufacturing and Tailoring & Embroidery Training.

These programmes in Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Centre are being run under ‘Scheme for Promoting Innovation; Rural Industry & Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE)’ of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. These programmes aim at self-employment generation among aspiring start-up entrepreneurs.

Minimum qualification is 8th Standard for the programmes Computer Hardware and Networking, Pet Bottle Making, Bakery Products, Spice Grinding & Packing and Beautician Training, Tailoring and Embroidery and Digital Printing. For admissions to Sales & Marketing and CNC (Computer- Controlled Machine) Advance Training, minimum qualification is 12th pass or equivalent.

The duration of these programmes is 8 weeks.

The last date of submission of application forms is November 29, 2019.

Interested candidates can collect the application form from the Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Centre – JMI (Near University Polytechnic-JMI) between 10.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. on all working days.
