No Dog, Cow, Lizard Dress Provocatively; Depraved Humans Have Raped them Mercilessly!

Human depravity goes beyond mere bad behavior — it is a total lack of morals, values, and even regard for other living things. Only a depraved human being can mount a dog, a cow, or a monitor lizard to satiate carnal desires! In the past decade, some depraved Indians have unleashed their terror between the thighs on babies, their own mothers and sisters, Nirbhayas, and many females who do not dress provocatively. In the latest incident from Bihar’s capital Patna, a stray dog was allegedly raped by a man though the dog was not dressed provocatively. In fact, the dog was not dressed at all! The unholy incident occurred on the day of Holi on March 8. The video of the gruesome act also went viral on social media. The alleged incident took place in the Faisal Colony of Phulwari Sharif of Nitish Kumar’s Bihar.

In the CCTV footage, an unknown person is seen openly doing the unnatural act with a dog in the colony. Following this rape incident, an application was submitted over the matter by an NGO at Phulwari Sharif police station. After this, Patna Police started investigating the matter. The Assistant Superintendent of Police, Phulwari Sharif, Manish Kumar disclosed, “An application has come and call forward has been done with the document. Action will be taken under the IPC and Animal Act. The matter is being investigated.”

It may be recalled that between 2010 and 2020, 82 cases of sexual abuse of animals took place in India, as per the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations and All Creatures Great and Small. The list of crimes and cruelty against speechless animals puts humanity to shame!

A monitor lizard was allegedly raped by 4 men in Maharashtra in March 2022. A cow was allegedly raped by a man in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow in April 2022. This was claimed in a report by animal rights groups, including the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations and All Creatures Great and Small. The actual number could be even higher as animals do not visit police stations to lodge rape complaints. Moreover, crimes against animals are not compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau (NRCB), according to animal rights activists.

Here are some other sensing numbing cases which came to light in recent years. In July 2018, animal rights activists claimed that a female dog in Goa’s Siolim village had been brutalised with a screwdriver being pushed into its private parts. The screws of the criminals’ upper chambers seem to be loose! In the same month, the alleged rape of a pregnant goat in Haryana’s Mewat hogged the headlines. The animal’s owner claimed that 8 men had allegedly assaulted the goat, leading to its painful death. In September 2018, a 60-year-old man was arrested in Rajasthan’s Kota for allegedly raping a stray dog. A month later, a 67-year-old was accused of raping his neighbour’s pet dog in Haryana’s Gurugram, and the act was captured by the camera.

Such crimes are covered under bestiality by Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which refers to “carnal intercourse against the order of nature”. The provision orders life imprisonment or 10-year-imprisonment with a monetary fine. There is no provision for the physical castration of animal rapists yet. However, activists call for stricter laws, and greater efforts by the government are needed to prevent animal abuse. A new law to replace the outdated Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 is very much needed. A new ministry for animal welfare and protection is proposed. Compilation of animal-related crimes by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) is suggested by animal rights activists.

Apart from the effects, it has on mental health and societal implications, bestiality can also pose health risks Experts believe that sexual contact with animals can result in leptospirosis, fatal parasitic infections, rabies, urological disorders, penile cancer, and even sexually transmitted diseases.

Noted poet Sahir Ludhianvi’s couplet is true for our times:

Hum Jo Insanon ki Tehzeeb Liye Phirtey Hain

Hum sa koi Wahshi Jungle ke Darindon mein Nahi

We who Pretend to Carry Human Culture,

There is No Animal Like us in the Wild!

What has human civilization come to? Women, children, and even animals are not spared when overcome by the devilish lust. Being human is more important than ever. It has to be deep inside in our hearts and not just on T-Shirts!
