RSS Leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat Spits Fire Before 2024 Lok Sabha Polls: Muslim Women had Different Husbands Everyday; PM Modi Gave them Permanent Husbands

The Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has granted Muslim women ‘‘permanent husbands.’’ He claimed that before this intervention by Modi, Muslim women did not have stable marriages. The provocative extremist Prabhakar spit fire, saying, “Muslim women didn’t have permanent husbands; they had different husbands every day. PM Narendra Modi gave them permanent husbands.”

It is significant to note that Prabhakar has been diarrhoeaing at Muslims and provoking them at different times for more than two decades now. Many FIRS were filed against Prabhakar but were not taken to a logical conclusion. He was never convicted in any case, as the judiciary granted him bail and came to his rescue every time, just like the Prophet Abuser and Islamophobe Raja Singh were not convicted in more than 100 cases filed against him. The Telangana High Court granted bail to Raja Singh, and he continues to abuse and threaten Muslims in Telangana and other states after getting bail. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders K Kavitha and Harish Rao are his protectors in the communal game. Raja Singh had met Harish Rao to get a bullet-proof vehicle and additional security. The pictures of this meeting were splashed in the media.

In the case of Prabhakar Bhat in Karnataka, BJP leaders, including former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and Shobha Karandlaje, allegedly threatened the Siddaramaiah government in 2017 if any action was taken against Prabhakar. It may be recalled that on July 14, 2017, Karnataka BJP chief B.S. Yeddyurappa dared Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to go ahead and arrest the RSS leader from coastal Karnataka at his own peril. Yeddyurappa, who was speaking at a BJP protest meet in Dakshina Kannada, warned Siddaramaiah that if RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is arrested in any of the cases filed against him, all RSS workers would hit the streets and the “fire would engulf the whole state.”

It was an open challenge to the state’s authority when Yeddyurappa threatened the whole state with fire! But the timid Siddaramaiah did not take any action, neither against Yeddyurappa nor Prabhakar Bhat.

The latest provocation and humiliation by Kalladka Prabhakar has left Muslims in general and Muslim women in particular in raging fury. A former Janata Dal (S) leader, Najma Nazeer, in her complaint filed at Srirangapatna Town Police Station in Mandya district, said that RSS leader Prabhakar Bhat targeted Muslim women with insulting comments and propagated religious hatred, creating a potential threat to communal harmony. She added that the RSS leader’ spoke obscenely about women in a public space, violating their privacy, and intentionally promoted enmity between Hindus and Muslims, posing a risk to societal peace.’ An FIR has been registered. Will it make any difference?

The divider-in-chief instructs his communal stooges to provoke people in different parts of the country to polarize people on religious lines and mock democracy with a one-sided election in favor of his hate party. What if a Muslim leader asks, ‘whether Hindu women have temporary husbands or permanent husbands’? Will the Muslim leader be allowed to breathe after that?

Though the Supreme Court has tried to reign in the hate mongers, there appears to be tacit complicity by the BJP leader Narendra Modi and his chief communalists in different states to disturb peace in the country. The governments of the day at the center and in the states lack the political will to ensure the needed law, order, and peace!
