IGNOU Announces Entrance Tests to be Held on February 12, 2012

Indira Gandhi National Open University popularly known globally as IGNOU is conducting Entrance Tests for Management Programmes (OPENMAT-XXXI), OPENDEN-IV, BEDSE, MEDSE, and PGDCC for the sessions starting from July 2012 on February 12, 2012 (Sunday). In a recent press release on 6 February 2012, IGNOU announced that the Open mat Test will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and for other programmes it will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The Tests are being organised in 133 Examination Centres accommodating 30,758candidates (Openmat-14622/BEDSE-13674/MEDSE-379/OPENDEN-1519/PGDCC-564).

The Hall-tickets have already been dispatched to the candidates by the University.  The particulars of Hall-tickets are also available on the IGNOU Website www.ignou.ac.in .  In case of non-receipt of Hall-ticket by any candidate, the Hall-ticket can be downloaded from the University Website by entering Name and Date of Birth of the candidate and report to the Examination Centre. 

In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph.  In such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled.  Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test. University has deputed Central Observers in all the 133 examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test.
