Only 30 Muslim Candidates Selected in Civil Services

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday declared the results of the Civil Services 2018 examinations. KANISHAK KATARIA has secured the top position in UPSC civil services examination 2018. AKSHAT JAIN and JUNAID AHMAD came second and third respectively in the examination.

A total of 759 candidates have been recommended for appointment including 361 General (including 28 Physically challenged candidates), 209 Other Backward Classes (including 05 Physically challenged candidates), 128 Scheduled Castes and 61 Scheduled Tribes candidates.

BeyondHeadlines also tried to collect all Muslim names from the UPSC result 2018 which has come today.

It is pleasing that nearly 28 successful candidates are Muslims and of them in top hundreds are only 02 candidates. According to this list of 759 candidates, 30 are Muslims which means that stands 3.95%. Last year, 52 Muslim candidates were successful in the UPSC examination out of 990 who qualified.
