New Delhi: Congress appears in no mood to relent to pressure created by team Anna. The Congress today directly attacked the Gandhian Anna Hazare of misappropriation in his trusts.
Manish Tiwari today accused Anna Hazare of involvement in corruptions charges. He said, “You are corrupt yourself. We are not saying this. This is what a high court-appointed inquiry has said.”
Tiwari was referring to Justice Sawant Report that indicted him of illegality that “amounted to a corrupt practice.”

Referring to Team Anna’s August 14 protest agianst the government’s version of the Lokpal Bill, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal said, ”There is nothing more undemocratic than what Anna is doing.”
Ambika Soni even criticized the tone of his letter to the prime minister. “Was Anna’s letter to the prime minister reflective of a Gandhian mindset?” she asked.
Anna Hazare, meanwhile, has rubbished all charges. “The charges levelled against me are false. I dare them to conduct an enquiry against me. Till the time my name is cleared I will continue my fast,” he said.
