The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that the results of the Classes X and XII exams conducted by it are most likely to be declared at the end of this month. The authorities have yet to call a meeting to decide the date of result declaration.
The office of the Controller of Examination (CoE) of CBSE at New Delhi informed BeyondHeadlines that the results are expected at the end of the month as the meeting is pending to decide about the date.
With ICSE results out, students who appeared for the CBSE board are eagerly waiting for the results. As many as 29,475 students took the Classes X and XII exams at 39 exam centers located at Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
As per official data, in the tricity, a total of 11,966 students of Class X and 17,509 students of Class XII appeared for the examination.
However, the Regional Director, CBSE, R J Khanderao said that preparations for the results are under process and the results will likely be out by May 25.
The CBSE is also working on a system to provide SMS services to the students to get result-related information on their mobile phones like it was done in the case of ICSE examination.
