Malegaon: The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) has decided to organize ten-day National Urdu Book Fair in Malegaon from the January 3 to January 12, 2014 for the further promotion of the Urdu language in the city. As well as many cultural & entertainment programs have also been planned to be organized during the event.
In-charge of Urdu Fair Mr. S.M. Khurram, NCPUL Publication In-charge Mohammad Aseem & the Editor of Urdu Book Review Mr. Arif Iqbal had inspection in the city. This fair will be held at A.T.T. High School & Junior College and J.A.T High School & Junior College grounds. Besides it, two NGOs Pasban-e-Adab of Mumbai and Malegaon Society of Education will co-ordinate with NCPUL.
There will be different cultural entertainment programs also with book fair like Urdu Caravan, local and national level Mushaera, competitions on different topics, literacy and informative sessions on Urdu language, journalism, history, career guidance and planning and school curriculum and mono acting and drama competition.
