World Management Congress held in Pune

Strengthening the cause of nation building by contributing through neological as well as neocratic approach to governance through effective planning and administration is must, said Prof. Dr. Priya Ranjan Trivedi, World renowned environmental scientist, institution builder, management thinker and Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh while inaugurating the 35th World Management Congress at Hotel Aurora Towers Pune.

The congress was organised by the Indo Global Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture in association with Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh and Muslim Studies Centre, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

Dr. Srawut Aree, Deputy Director, Muslim Studies Centre, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Cholvit Jearajit, Dean, Faculty of Social Science, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Manoch Aree, Head of Political Science Department, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Ah Kei Lim from Malaysia, Dr. Mohd. Faheem, Visiting Research Fellow, Muslim Studies Centre, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Syed Azharuddin , Finance & Accounts Officer Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Aurangabad, Principal Dr. Nitin Ghorpade, Director Dr. Sajid Alvi, IGCCIA President Dr. Anwar Shaikh, Convenor of the congress Prof. Rakesh Mittal, Prof. Tahir Shaikh and Prof. Sachin Kulkarni were present on the occasion.

More than 150 researcher papers were presented in four sessions by researchers and delegates. On the occasion Dr. S.V. Kadvekar, Brigadier Dr. Shyam Lal, Prof. Jayant Oak, Dr. Ah Kei Lim and Mr. Isaque bhai Shaikh-Chaviwale were conferred with Life time Achievement Awards. Other Best Educator Award and Appreciation Awards and Indo Global Hospitality Awards were also given to faculty, community workers and hotels for outstanding work done in their respective areas. Three books viz. Introduction to Foreign Trade, International Economics and Narendra Modi – the man India needs were released at the hands of dignitaries.
