Air Marshal Rajan Chaudhry Ati Vishisht Seva Medal Vishisht Seva Medal, Director General of Medical Services (AIR) of Indian Air Force, arrived on a day’s visit to 9 Base Repair Depot (BRD), Pune on 02 Feb 15. It was the first visit of Air Marshal to 9 BRD after taking over as DGMS (Air) of IAF.
The Air Marshal was received by Group Captain Biji Philip, Station Commander, 9 BRD AF. After arrival, the Air Marshal was introduced with the key personnel of the Depot. During his visit he inspected the newly constructed Station Medicare Centre which is providing all medical facilities to the air warriors and their family members. He was briefed by the Station Commander, 9 BRD about various vital state-of-art projects undertaken by the Depot.
He appreciated the all round development in the Depot and good leadership. He also stressed upon the physical fitness of all air warriors and their family members.
