Kolhapur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials from Karnataka are quizzing arrested Sanatan activist Sameer Vishnu Gaikwad and three of his accomplices in connection with their links to hardcore right wing suspects in the state of Karnataka. Their interrogation is being done in the wake of a parallel investigation being done by law enforcement agencies related to the assassination of another rationalist and thinker Dr M M Kalburgi in Karnataka.
According to the investigating officials, the suspects have revealed shocking information related to the fanatic ideology and their killing spirit. The police officials believe that a singular ideology and brainwashing of the suspects was the chief reason behind the killing of three rationalists comprising Dr Narendra Dabholkar, Dr M M Kalburgi and Comrade Govind Pansare. The central agencies are trying to connect the dots that one group could be behind the killing of all the three rationalists, investigators informed media persons in Kolhapur.
