AURANGABAD: A large gathering of muslims under the banner of Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen led a huge protest against the state sponsored killings of Rohingya muslims in Arakan State of Myanmar.

The protests were led by firebrand MIM Legislator Aurangabad Central Imtiaz Jaleel. The legislator had recently sent back controversial writer Tasleema Nasreen who had secretly come on a tour to Aurangabad. Jaleel along with senior party functionaries met the district collector and informed him about the grave human rights violations being done by Burmese armed forces without any fear of the law.

Jaleel said that entire world is silent to the violent and anti human crimes of the Burmeses government and demanded the union government convey the message to put an end to the war crimes at the earliest. Jaleel said that muslims across India were enraged at the gruesome killings which involved genocide of Hindus and other communities along with muslims in Burma.

Party officials said that the role of imperial globalists and hidden powers behind the killings must be investigated by the United Nations. These are same people with huge money and dubious links who are  behind the violence in Burma, the MIM protesters informed the media.
