Malegaon: There was Municipal Corporation election in Dhule on Sunday December 15, 2013. Which proved a record of 65% to 70% polling for 70 seats. The polling started at 7.30 a.m. till evening 5.30 p.m. & the voters participated with full confidence & passion in the polling, which is better for Dhule. It was the first time when NOTA button was used in Dhule. It was informed from the representatives that 35 wards have formed for 70 seats with 466 candidates. In which, the most were independent candidates. 348 polling booths were arranged for voting. & the police was also presented for controlling the violence & bogus voting. The counting of the votes will be tomorrow morning at Hiray Medical College. As well as a special screen is also arranged in the Dhule Municipal Corporation for looking the results specially for the facility of the people.
