Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi,

Hope you liked the sacred building of parliament and the huge palace on 7-RCR. Feels great, isn’t it? I’m sure it does.

I won’t take much of your time, I understand you are a busy man. I am sure you heard about the shameful rapes of two Dalit girls in UP and other parts of this country. Badaun incident has become a national shame. Even the UNO has expressed its concern.

The atrocities against women are on the rise and there seems to be no end to such heinous crimes. I am also sure you also heard about the right wing group called ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’ going crazy in Pune and killed one Muslim youth. Why won’t you hear about these things – the media houses report to you directly since you started the image make-over via APCO.

Anyways, the honeymoon is over now. People are waiting for you to speak up on these issues of national concern. Wherever you are hiding, whatever happened to your thundering voice, please come out soon and speak up on these issues. People are waiting for you to take action.

We remember you making fun of Manmohan Singh Govt. and calling it “Ye Dilli ki Maun Sarkar Hai”. This country cannot accept another silent PM.

Please don’t listen to the advise of your coterie that keeps telling you that you are not a ‘Hawaldar’ to respond to each and every incident happening in this country.

You should tell your coterie about your promise of “Mitron, Main chowkidaar banke rahoonga”.

Please don’t let the people feel that the responsibility that comes with the PM’s chair has made you silent. That’s a lie. Isn’t it?

Speak up. If you have dental pain just like you had after Karnataka election, please use your Twitter handle, now that you have two handles, you can amplify the impact. Please call the APCO team back that was managing your social media accounts. Their job is not over yet. Please write a blog. If you could write blogs when you were a CM, then this nation believes that you can write one again while being a PM.

More than all this, take ‘Action’ as i believe you believe in action rather than mere promises.

The GDP, CAD, FDI or RBI are just feel good factors for the urban elite. What matters to a common man most is security and a sense of safety.

The nation is waiting. The patience is running out.

Looking forward to your action.

Regards,
A Common Man
