The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) hate machine, Narendra Modi, has crossed his ‘Laxman Rekha’ by calling Muslims as ‘infiltrators.’ In his frenzied lust for eternal power, Narendra Modi, at an election rally in Rajasthan, abused 20 crore Muslims as ‘infiltrators’ who ‘produce more children.’ With ground slipping behind his feet of clay, Modi incited the Hindus against Muslims with toxic falsehoods aimed at dividing the country vertically. Modi asserted that if the Congress party comes to power, it will take away ‘Mangalsutra, gold, and silver from Hindu sisters and give them away to infiltrators. He asked them if they would like to give away their hard-earned money.
The international media has highlighted Modi’s hate speech in very clear terms. The Washington Post carried an article: Modi accused of ‘hate speech’ toward India’s Muslims in an election rally. The Time Magazine, which had once called Modi as ‘Divider-in-Chief, ran the headline: Indian Prime Minister Modi accused of ‘Hate Speech’ towards Muslims in Campaign Rally. Al Jazeera’s headline blared: ‘Infiltrators’: Modi accused of anti-Muslim hate speech amid India election.
An incensed Congress party chief, Mallikarjun Kharge, observed Modi’s comments constitute “hate speech” and form “a well-thought-out ploy to divert attention.” On social media site X, he added that Modi has been influenced by “the values of the Sangh,” referencing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a right-wing Hindu paramilitary organization that Modi was affiliated with in his youth. “In the history of India, no prime minister has lowered the dignity of his post as much as Modi has,” Kharge thundered.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)—the United States’ largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization—also condemned Narendra Modi’s speech in a statement shared with TIME on Monday thus:
“It is unconscionable, but not surprising, that far-right Hindutva leader Narendra Modi would target Indian Muslims with a hateful and dangerous diatribe despite his role as the leader of a nation with such a diverse religious heritage,” lamented CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.
The Election Commission of India (ECI), as usual, seems to be complicit in Modi’s hate speech, as it has not even barred Modi from campaigning and has not instructed for the registration of an FIR for the hate speech. It has not set in motion the process to de-recognize the Islamophobic BJP and cancel its registration.
‘A recent report by the Washington-based research group India Hate Lab recorded 668 cases in 2023. While 255 events took place in the first half of 2023, the figure rose to 413 in the second half of the year, marking a 63% increase. The report documented that 75% of the total instances that year took place in BJP-ruled states.’
The first phase of the 7-phase elections to Lok Sabha set the wolf among the haters. Narendra Modi, after a closed-door analysis of phase 1 polling with his party colleagues, decided to turn the elections into a Hindu-Muslim binary. Modi has nothing on record except hate speeches, riots, and lynchings since 2014. His close capitalist cronies took loans of thousands of crores from banks, defrauded them, and ‘infiltrated’ other countries after looting Indians. With six phases more to go before completing the election process, one can imagine how much more Modi will incite Hindus to possibly trigger riots and possible genocide against Muslims amidst the elections.
In utter disregard to the respectable economist–intellectual turned former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Narendra Modi attributed false statements to malign his image and the reputation of the Congress. According to economist Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, who had been part of the Planning Commission, the former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has never said that Muslims have the ‘first right’ on the country’s assets and the statements of successor Narendra Modi are complete lies! “In the meeting of the National Development Board on 9th December 2006, Dr Singh had said that ‘Dalits, tribals, OBCs, women, children of the country should be able to taste the fruits of development and the minority community should also benefit from. it’ — the meaning of Dr Singh’s statement was that SC, ST, and OBC, minorities have the first right to the country’s resources, and after the meeting, Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia and I held a press conference and gave information. Minority means not only a religious minority but also a linguistic minority. The meeting was attended by Chief Ministers of all states, including Modi the then Chief Minister of Gujarat,” clarified Dr Mungekar.
There are many Hindus, particularly in Assam and Uttar Pradesh, including some BJP MPs, who have six or more children, as per media reports. It is not the fault of 20-crore Indian Muslims if Narendra Modi was not able to produce a single child. Muslims are not at fault if Modi ditched his bride, Jasoda Ben, who did not consummate his marriage and escaped to Nagpur. Why abuse Muslims for ‘producing more children’? Modi did not have the courage even to mention the name of his wife in the election affidavit until 2019 and the ECI did not take any action over this serious lapse. As long as 20-crore Muslims are alive, our Hindu sisters need not fear about losing their honor, gold, and silver. Unless the BJP is done and dusted on 4th June 2024 with a resounding defeat, India continues to be in grave danger with serious threats to democracy, secularism, and the constitution!
Hold your tongue, Narendra Modi. Muslims belong to beloved India. They are not infiltrators. Verily, India is our Janmabhoomi and Karmabhoomi!
