New Delhi: On 3rd of June 2011, in a village of Forbesganj town of Bihar, four villagers including an infant and a pregnant woman were killed apart many severely injured in a police firing. The case completing one year on Sunday but the victims are still waiting for Justice. A Commission instituted to investigate the matter is yet to submit its report though it was asked to do it in 6 months time. No compensation has been granted, saying the matter is under investigation! Moreover, the Bihar govt is not responding in the Supreme Court properly. In short, nothing has been done so far.
To protest all this, Against Massacre and Impunity: for Justice and in Solidarity of Victims a joint protest of several organizations and groups has been organized at Bihar Bhawan (5, Kautilya Marg) on 2nd June (Saturday), 11 AM onwards.
On this occasion, we will be also submitting a memorandum to the Governer of Bihar through resident commissioner in this regard.

Beyond Headlines An attempt to 'report a cause aright'
Let us not forget that the victims of anti-sikh riots of 1984 and Bhopal gas leak of 1984 have still not got justice. The congees only use Gandhiji to serve their selfish ends and fool ordinary people. Remember what President APJ Kalam said once: strength respects only strength! And obviously those wielding the reins of government have the police, army and even judges on their side!
