KCR’s Spoiled Son KTR Shows Disrespect to PM Narendra Modi, HEH The Nizam — Though Not at Same Time

Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR)’s son K Tarak Rama Rao (KTR) seems to have turned into a spoiled son and began exhibiting behavioral problems from being overindulged by the parents. As his behavior changed suddenly, KTR showed disrespect to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to spread canards against him that the entire country was saying that Modi is a broker for Adani.  KTR, in a cleverly-worded speech, said that he will not call Prime Minister Narendra Modi a broker even though the entire country was saying this. However, KTR did not furnish any data to support his claim that the entire country was saying this. The Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi belongs to the entire country. Using such disrespectful language against the elderly leader Narendra Modi does not behove the Grammar School educated KTR. KCR should not stoop so low to attack Narendra Modi through KTR in such disgraceful language! Both KCR and KTR have all the political freedom and democratic rights to oppose Narendra Modi on policies but they must draw a Lakhsman Rekha in the choice of words regarding our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Though not at the same time or in the same speech, KTR spewed venom and hidden hostility against His Exalted Highness (HEH) The Nizam of Hyderabad.

KTR was reacting to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bandi Sanjay’s broker comments on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leak issue. “He (State BJP President Bandi Sanjay) wrote that TSPSC is the work of KTR. He called the chief minister a broker. Do they think I can’t say that their Prime Minister is a broker to Adani? I can but I won’t because I have cultural values,” thundered KTR. Armed with cheap and crude language, Bandi Sanjay attacks the Hon’ble Chief Minister KCR. Does this justify KTR to use of Bandi Sanjay’s language?

Speaking at the Atmiya Sammelanam Sabha in Rajanna Sircilla district, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KTR said, “I can call Prime Minister a broker for Adani.” His comment was followed by huge claps and a roar from the public. The agitated KTR regained his composure and realized what he had commented about the Hon’ble Prime Minister Modi. He waited for the accolades to stop. “But I won’t,” he said in a balancing act. I can call the Prime minister a broker is itself disrespectful and shows KTR’s real intent!

Answering Union Home Minister Amit Shah as to why Telangana does not call and celebrate the ‘Liberation Day’, KTR ended up spewing venom against His Exalted Highness (HEH) The Nizam of Hyderabad and called him an ‘Oppressor!’ KTR tweeted thus:

To those who ask why can’t we call it Liberation Day; Why do we celebrate 15th August as Independence Day and not as Liberation Day? What should matter is a respectful commemoration of the sacrifices & struggles against oppressors; be it the British or Nizam “Stop being a prisoner of the past. Become the Architect of your Future.”

KTR may well be reminded that if HEH The Nizam was an oppressor, he would not have taken any people-friendly measures. Did the Glorious Nizam keep KTR’s ancestors hungry, thirsty, or without education? Who built the Osmansagar, Himayatsagar, Osmania University, and Osmania Hospital? Did HEH The Nizam appoint Maharaja Kishen Pershad as Prime Minister and Raja Bahadur Venkatrama  Reddy as Kotwal (Commissioner of Police) and other Hindus as ministers and high-ranking officials because he was an ‘Oppressor’? The building that houses the Telangana Legislative Assembly was also built by KTR’s ‘Oppressor!’ KTR should try repeating in the Legislative Assembly that HEH The Nizam was an ‘Oppressor’ and also mention in the BRS manifesto for the next Legislative Assembly elections that HEH The Nizam was an ‘Oppressor.’

KTR and KCR can test the political waters and seal their fate if they prefer to go hardline. Why has KTR forgotten the noble Telangana culture of showing respect to our elders – Buzurg in Urdu and Pedda Manushulu in Telugu? KTR must remember that both His Exalted Highness The Nizam and the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi are elders with their own contributions to our country. KTR may disagree but do not disrespect the elders!
