Silent Protest against Corruption in Judicial & Law Enforcement

Jyoti Ghag for BeyondHeadlines

[The silent protest against discrimination and corruption in Indian Judiciary and Law Enforcement is scheduled at 9:00 am on 28th September inn Azad Maidan, Mumbai.]

Please get united to demand justice for our Shahids and for common citizens of India who are saliently surviving violation of their Human and Constitutional rights. It’s an open secret that we have so much discrimination, corruption and inhumanity in our Indian law enforcement and judiciary system that victims end up surviving injustice for rest of their life.

How anyone of you could justify using former Mumbai CP Mr. Hasan Gafoor Khan as escape goat and letting Mr. R.R. Patil, Jt. CP Mr. Rakesh Maria go scot free for Mumbai police failure in 26/11 terrorist attack?

How could you justify to let Mr. Patil making Mr. Maria ATS Chief and further promoting him as Police Commissioner of Mumbai? Our Kashmiri people are getting killed, our young soldiers are getting beheaded and mutilated since Kargil War but we are being reluctant to take Pakistan in International Court of Justice under violation of Geneva Convention (Human Rights).

And at other hand when it comes to politician’s Bollywood star brother being convicted for harming hundreds of human lives then our judiciary not just let him go with minimum punishment but also grants him an extension in serving his punishment under Humanitarian ground.

Why our Law enforcement and judiciary system is hesitating to punish high rank IPS officers and Home Ministry officials who have failed our brave heart police officials in 26/11 attack?

The National Investigation Agency or the NIA was formed after the Mumbai attacks in November 2008, specifically to probe and tackle terror-related cases in the country. But the two major terror attacks in Maharashtra post 26/11 — Pune and Mumbai – were not handed over to the NIA.

Ironically both the investigations were led by the Anti-Terrorism Squad Chief Mr. Rakesh Maria, the IPS officer who is responsible for wrongful death of honest, brave heart Mumbai Police officers Mr. Hemant Karkare, Mr. Ashok Kamte and Mr. Vijay Salaskar.

How could Mumbai Crime Branch and ATS investigation officers complete the said investigation when important evidence for instance, the bullet proof vest which officer Karkare at the time was wearing is still missing?

How convenient for state Government to misplace the regarding file from Mantralaya? Maharashtra Government failed to clear the suspicion surrounding Maria Saheb’s involvement in Karkare Saheb, Kamte Saheb, Salaskar Saheb’s wrongful death instead not just awarded him with certificates of merit but made his dream come true by promoting him as Mumbai CP.
