Arvind Kejriwal Gets Momin Conference Support in Banaras

Varanasi is becoming a melting pot for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal as the city’s influential outfit Momin Conference has lend its full support to his party as he readies to take BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi head on in the upcoming elections.

In Varanasi, the local chapter of Momin Conference has been supporting AAP and also gave its own office to AAP in for election campaign purposes.

Speaking during a press conference in the city today, Momin Conference executive president Shakeel Ansari told that the Conference will openly support AAP in its election activities.

Mr. Ansari said Arvind Kejriwal is a politician with an honest image and the Conference wants to strengthen honest and secular forces. In the current scenario, he said Arvind Kejriwal is a better option.

Conditions of Muslims are deteriorating in the country, and their situation in Kashi (Varanasi) is worse, Mr Ansari noted, while adding that weavers are in pathetic conditions. We have been fighting for them for years.

The objective of Momin Conference appears similar to that of AAP as the party is also fighting for poors of the nation, he remarked.

The purpose of Momin Conference is not just limited to reaching to power, rather its aim is to help intelligent people in the society to attain power who can guide youth in the multi-cultural, religious and races country, Mr Ansari expressed.

In addition, he appealed to all people of Varanasi to participate in nomination filing event of Arvind Kejriwal in order to send a better message to sectarian forces.

Momin Conference’s support to AAP is vital as there are about 3 lakh Muslim voters in Varanasi. The Conference is trying so that polarization doesn’t happen.
